I am pleased to announce that The Virtual Victrola is now featuring a monthly hour-long audio program, Futuristic Rhythm. The show will feature music, memories, and trivia from the Jazz Age through The Big Band Era.
Episode One is entitled "Dimestore Dance Bands" and is a survey of some of the great music available on budget record labels from the 1920's and 1930's.

In response to a comment, here is a photo of Romeo 443. Tyrone Settlemeyer's listing for Romeo is incorrect; he lists the artists and songs on my copy of Romeo 443 as appearing on Romeo 441. As I do not have any of the other Romeo's with adjacent catalog numbers, I cannot be sure how far this error carries.

Thanks for the awesome Futuristic Rhythm post. It's weird that your information on Romeo 443 differs from what's at this link. Did your Miss Annabelle Lee really come of a Romeo 443?

Yes, my record is Romeo 443. You'll note that Tyrone has the info for Romeo 443 incorrectly listed under Romeo 441. I have updated the post to include a picture of this label.
